NovaBACKUP for PCs

Individual PC File Backup capability allows you to select what data is important to you. That's your user data.

PC Image Backups are block-level backups of your entire drive partition in case you need to recover from a system crash. This would typically include your primary Operating System partition “C:”.

You can now back up all your PC files, images and videos or your entire system to the NovaBACKUP Cloud through a single interface. All PC licenses include 5GB of Free Cloud Storage and you can add more as you need it. Learn more. 

You can also now backup to any S3-compatible device for additional cloud storage options.

File & Image Backup jobs have the ability to change the selection mode as following:

• Full (every item in the selection, every time);
• Differential (changes since the last Full);
• Incremental (changes since the last Full or Incremental).

File Copy Jobs can keep a current version of your files at a location you specify using a one-way copy, when run manually or on a schedule. These files are visible to you as if you performed the Copy yourself using File Explorer.

Using a Boot Disk allows you to restore an Image Backup even when Windows is unable to boot, reverting your system to the point in time your Image Backup was captured.

The Boot Disk is also able to restore an Image Backup to a different machine that has sufficient space, provided you have a recent operating system.

Restore a single file from your PC backup. All backups performed using NovaBACKUP can restore a single file that was included in your backup.

This includes Image Backups using the "mount" feature. You can restore data to an alternate location of your choosing.

Automate your PC backups with ease. Scheduling a backup job allows them to run while you are not there, so long as your machine is on.

You can adjust the frequency (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly), add a holiday schedule, and run any scheduled job as needed.

Get notified when your PC backups are complete. File Backup or Copy jobs have the ability to send you an email when a job completes based on various parameters, such as “Always” or “Only if errors”.

We have an alert email system available to our customers also, so all you have to do is enter your destination email address.

Source: Any NTFS (New Technology File System) formatted drives connected to the machine, including Hardware RAID configurations.

Destination: NovaBACKUP can store backups to any NTFS formatted drive (including RDX) or to Network Shares (NAS), or Single Tape Drives.

You can choose our secure NovaBACKUP Cloud or target any S3-compatible storage device. 

File & Image Backups are compressed by default, typically saving anywhere from 10-25% over a straight file copy.

File & Image Backups are able to utilize AES 128-bit, AES 192-bit, AES 256-bit & Blowfish encryption to password protect your backup files from being opened by unauthorized users.

The NovaBACKUP user interface is designed to be compatible with screen readers and similar utilities.
