We use a third-party service provider to manage credit card processing for all online orders. This service provider is not permitted to store, retain, or use information you provide except for the sole purpose of credit card processing on our behalf. For direct purchases, as in the case with larger business accounts, we will ask for purchasing information directly, such as your credit card number and billing address, which will be used to create a NovaBACKUP billing account. Except for this, we do not collect Sensitive Information from you.
“Automatic Data Collection and Anonymous Information”

We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. This automatic exchange of data between your browser and our server upon accessing our pages informs us of data like which browser you are using, your referral source, date and length of visit and pages viewed.

The information we collect automatically is called “Anonymous Information.” Anonymous Information means information that is not associated with or linked to your Personal Information. Thus, Anonymous Information does not permit the identification of individual persons.

Hubspot Chat Cookies

HubSpot Chat is a tool that allows visitors to the website to interact with NovaBAKCUP staff while on the website. It is another channel of contact similar to email and telephone and should be treated as such. With the Consent option for the collection of chat cookies enabled, HubSpot asks visitors for consent to release a cookie in their browser when they open a chat on our website. This cookie is used to interact with website visitors and to provide a visitor’s chat history. If a visitor does not consent, they will not be able to start the chat. With this setting disabled, a visitor can start a chat and give consent to process their information via the Consent to Process setting.

Use of Web Beacons

NovaBACKUP websites may contain electronic images known as web beacons - sometimes called single-pixel gifs - that may be used to assist in delivering cookies on our sites and allow us to count users who have visited those pages. We use Google Analytics 4 on our blog to track social shares made from our website. Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager, a solution provided by Google, that allows NovaBACKUP to manage website tags using their interface. LinkedIn Conversion Tracking and Insight Tag

We use LinkedIn campaigns. The LinkedIn Insight Tag is a piece of lightweight JavaScript code that we have added to our websites to enable in-depth campaign reporting and to help us unlock valuable insights about our website visitors. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to track conversions, retarget website visitors, and unlock additional insights about members interacting with our LinkedIn adverts.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of metadata such as IP address information, timestamp, and events such as page views. All data is encrypted. The LinkedIn browser cookie is stored in a visitor's browser until they delete the cookie or the cookie expires (there’s a rolling six-month expiration from the last time the visitor’s browser loaded the Insight Tag).

We use Hubspot, a marketing automation software from Hubspot Inc., Cambridge, MA 02141, USA. HubSpot Analytics uses cookies and beacons to track how long Customers and potential Customers are on our Site, what marketing pages they visit, what marketing offers they respond to, and a visitor’s identity for us to improve our customer education material, set up accounts, and provide the Services. 

HubSpot CRM is a User database management service provided by HubSpot, Inc. NovaBACKUP stores and processes the contact information you provide. We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices (in particular device's IP address (captured and stored only in anonymized form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), preferred language used to display our website). Advertising and Partnerships

We partner with a third-party ad network to either display advertising on our Web site or to manage our advertising on other sites.
