Managing backup environments for multiple clients has always meant keeping a lot of moving parts in sync.
The Spring Release's headlines are multi-tenant account management, role-based permissions, and the ability to push agent updates remotely from the central management console.
The release also includes a substantial set of bug fixes, including Hyper-V and SQL reliability improvements, VM restore to alternate locations, group management fixes, and performance improvements for retention and restore operations.

Revenue Is Up. Margins Might Not Be.
The growth numbers for managed services look good from the outside. According to Omdia Research, the global managed services market is on track to surpass $650 billion. But nearly 30% of MSPs say they fear their business could actually shrink in 2026, not from a lack of clients, but from rising operational complexity and the increasing cost of cybersecurity demands eating into their ability to deliver profitably.
A recent ChannelE2E perspective piece from a director of global MSP sales at Paessler explains that revenue growth and healthy margins are not the same thing, and in 2026 the gap between them is widening for many MSPs. Tool sprawl is a central part of the problem. When every new client requirement gets solved with a new tool, the per-engineer cost of supporting those clients compounds faster than revenue does. The article's argument is that the MSPs who scale profitably are the ones who consolidate tooling, build per-service pricing that reflects actual delivery costs, and make proactive monitoring the foundation of their model, because that's what allows a small team to support more clients without adding headcount.
The first three articles are live now.

Impossible Cloud's cloud storage is now built directly into NovaBACKUP Managed Backup and it’s single agent solutions. There's no separate account to create, no additional credentials to manage, and no second invoice. When you set up a cloud or hybrid backup job in NovaBACKUP, the data is automatically stored in Impossible Cloud (for new subscriptions) and usage appears on your existing NovaBACKUP invoice alongside your protected clients.
We recently shared a first look at the redesigned NovaBACKUP agent interface on YouTube. If you're curious about where the product is heading from a usability standpoint — and what your clients and techs will see day to day — this short video is worth a few minutes.
